Flora Banks is unlike any character I've ever come across and that's what makes this book.
How do you review a book a mother has wrote about her own son? How do I write about how this book made me feel? How I found it haunting, fascinating and eye-opening all at once?
I had never heard of Mata Hari until I read this book, but when I finished it, I felt like I had learned a hell of lot about her life.
I kept putting off writing this review and I don't know why that is.
I really wanted to love this book. Trust me, I tried.
